What it is
A hospital buying a piece of equipment collects three to six quotes, and no two of them are built the same way. One includes freight and installation. One puts the software license on a separate page. One quotes a five-year service contract and one quotes a one-year warranty that covers parts but not labor. Somebody then sits down with a spreadsheet and spends a day and a half turning all of it into a bid tab that a committee can actually read.
QuoteVitals does that part. You add the quotes. It reads each one, lines the items up against each other even when the vendors have bundled them differently, works out what each option really costs over five years rather than on the day, and flags the gaps — the adder one vendor included and another left silent about, the quantity that does not match the spec, the warranty that is shorter than the rest, the subtotal that does not add up.
Then you check it. Every figure is shown beside the page it was read from, low-confidence readings are highlighted, and your own reviewer corrects or accepts each one before approving the comparison. Nothing is approved on your behalf and nobody at Fandonia signs off on your purchase. What comes out is a spreadsheet you can hand to supply chain, a short memo you can hand upward, and a list of questions worth putting back to each vendor.

No patient data, ever
QuoteVitals is a purchasing tool, not a clinical one. It handles vendor quotes, specifications, and the commercial terms attached to them. It is not designed for, and must not be used for, protected health information, clinical records, or anything identifying a patient. There is no clinical workflow in it and no route by which a patient record could enter it.
What it stores, and the terms that apply
QuoteVitals keeps your documents on a server. A tool whose job is to compare documents from six different vendors has to hold those documents somewhere your colleagues can see them too, and it would be dishonest to bury that.
QuoteVitals has its own terms and its own privacy policy, and those are the ones that govern it. Rather than keep a second copy here that could drift out of date, this page points at them.
