What it is
Two or three paragraphs written for a parent: the situations the app walks a child through, how it handles getting it wrong, and what a child takes away from it. Say it plainly — a parent deciding in thirty seconds is the reader.
A second paragraph for anything unusual — for example, that it never scolds, that it works offline, or that it's meant to be played alongside a grown-up rather than alone.
What's in it
- A feature, described in a few words.
- Another.
- A third.
What this title stores
Nothing leaves the device. Manners App has no account, no server, no analytics, and no advertising. Your child's progress and the app's settings are saved only on your phone or tablet, and deleting the app deletes them. There is no sign-up, no email, no name, and no way for us to know your child used it at all. Our full Privacy Policy covers it in detail.
Terms for this title
These supplemental terms apply to Manners App in addition to Fandonia's general Terms of Use, which govern all of our games and apps. Where the two conflict, the terms on this page control for this title only. Everything in the general Terms that isn't changed here still applies.
1. What this title is
Manners App shows one common set of everyday courtesies — the sort taught in American homes and classrooms. Manners are not universal. They differ between cultures, faiths, regions, generations, and families, and a child who does something differently at home is not doing it wrong. Nothing here is a judgment about how any family raises its children, and we'd rather a child learn their own family's way than ours.
It is also not parenting advice, and it is not a developmental, behavioural, or clinical assessment of any kind. If you have a concern about a child's development or behaviour, please talk to a paediatrician, teacher, or qualified professional rather than to an app.
2. Made for children, and built accordingly
This title is submitted to Apple's Kids Category and Google Play's designed-for-families programme, and it is built to their rules:
- No advertising of any kind, and no third-party advertising or analytics code in the app.
- No data collection, so nothing about your child is gathered, stored off-device, or shared.
- No user-to-user communication, no chat, no user-generated content, and no social features.
- Any link that leaves the app, and any purchase, sits behind a parental gate that a young child cannot pass.
3. For parents and guardians
Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children, and it is compliant with COPPA by construction rather than by policy. There is no account to close, no data to request, and nothing for us to delete, because nothing ever reached us. If you'd like to ask about any of this, write to direction@fandonia.app.
4. Purchases in this title
State the model once it's decided. If there are in-app purchases, list each one with its price and what it unlocks. Any purchase is placed behind a parental gate and is sold by Apple or Google under their terms. Refunds go through the store you bought from — the support page explains how.
5. Age rating and content
Manners App is rated 4+ on the App Store and Everyone on Google Play. It contains no violence, no frightening imagery, and no in-app browsing.
6. Credits and licensed material
Illustrations, voices, sounds, and fonts that require attribution are credited here — asset, creator, licence, and a link. Delete this section only if every asset is original.
7. Changes to this page
If these supplemental terms change, we'll update the effective date above and, for anything material, say so in the app's release notes. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
