Games & Apps
We make more than one kind of thing. A tool for someone working on a jobsite has almost nothing in common with an app that teaches a five-year-old about elephants, and neither resembles a quiz you shout answers at while running. They are built differently too — most keep everything on your phone and have no server at all, while a working tool that has to hold your paperwork needs somewhere to hold it.
Each page below tells you what that title is, what it stores on your device, and any terms that apply to it on top of our general Terms of Use. Nothing here has shipped yet — the pages go up first, so you can read the terms before there's anything to buy.
Contractor App
A working tool for the jobsite, with an account so your scanned receipts and paperwork survive a lost phone. The one title of ours that has a server.
In development For kidsAnimals App
A first introduction to animals for young children. No ads, no accounts, nothing gathered — built to Apple's and Google's rules for children's apps.
In development For kidsManners App
Everyday courtesy, practised rather than lectured. One family's way of doing things is not the only way, and the app says so.
In development For runners and walkersHands-Free Quiz
A quiz you play out loud, with the screen in your pocket. Made for the miles — and written to be honest about paying attention to the road.
In developmentWhat every Fandonia title promises
These hold across everything we publish, whatever it is, so you won't have to re-read them on each page:
- No ads, ever. No advertising anywhere in anything we make, and no third-party advertising or analytics code inside our apps. Nothing we build is funded by watching you.
- We never sell you. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not track you across apps or the web. We never use what you put into our apps to train anything, ours or anyone else's.
- You always know where your data is. Most of our titles keep everything on your device and have no server at all. Where a title needs an account — Contractor App is the one that does — its page says exactly what is stored, where it lives, how to get it out, and how to delete it. No title will ever change that quietly.
- We say what a thing is. Our games are fiction, and any resemblance to real people, places, or events is coincidental. Our learning apps are simplified for the people they're made for. Our tools are aids, not judgments. None of it is medical, psychological, legal, financial, or professional advice.
- One human on support. Write to support@fandonia.app and a person answers, usually within two business days.
We would rather write a narrower promise and keep it than a sweeping one we have to walk back. That is why "where your data lives" is answered on each title's page instead of once, in large type, for everything. Hands-Free Quiz has one such question still open, and it is written on its page rather than buried.
